Things found in Norton's room.
[ Anyone deciding to loot Norton's room will stumble upon treasure!
... Well, some treasure. He did squirrel away some gold and jewels from the thieves den in a vanity drawer, and the drawer above that is where he kept Yuri's earrings. Perfectly perserved, just as he recieved them. In the closet are that outfit he wore for the Cinderella thing, the slippers he got from that, and the weird... Sattelite... Gun. Huh.
There's also a couple of sealed letters on the desk, on top of the stationary. They all bear the names of those he is writing to and a simple message:
Do not open unless I am dead.

Shame I can't really do that through a letter. If you're able to fetch it off my body and it's still in good condition, you're welcome to keep the compass from my belt. In case you don't know what that is, it's a round metal device that kind of looks like a clock's face. The arrow's magnetized, so if you hold it flat and level the red side should always point north. Even if you can't recover that, I also kept the slippers from the Cinderella thing if you already broke yours.
I think I also better come clean in case I never get the chance to do it in person... For the longest time, I thought what you found was a list of people who were going to work against us. But after getting to know some of the folks on that list and listening to Edelgard's story about the monster, I'm beginning to have second thoughts. Sorry about suspecting your childhood friend for a hot second there... I'd still keep an eye on the people on that list, but not for the same reasons I once had.
Like I said in the letter to everyone, I'll try to relay as much as I'm allowed. If I run into your friend, I'll tell him you miss him. Try to stay strong for us, okay?
